About the Amethyst Consultancy
Amethyst is a small independent consultancy established in 1990. Our aim is to help clients from the voluntary, public and private sectors to achieve their full potential and to maintain a competitive edge.
Ann Holloway is a management and organisational development consultant and mentor. She has over ten years’ experience as a consultant and training facilitator with clients in manufacturing, distribution, education, local government and health care. Ann is also:
- A SFEDI Business Adviser
- The author of several Open College open learning packages and an MCI-approved open learning pack 'Mentoring - The Definitive Workbook'
- A BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) Accredited Trainer (Counselling Skills)
- An Investors in People (IIP) Assessor, working with ELWa in Wales and LSCs in London
- Chair of Governors of the Dell Primary School, Chepstow, in which capacity she actively supported the school in winning the 1997 UK Business Award for Excellence, becoming an Investor in People and gaining a Charter Mark.
Jill Davies is a management training and development consultant working primarily in the private sector. She is also an Outdoor Challenge Instructor and a Registered Investors in People UK Advisor. Her clients include Ford Car dealerships, National Provident Institution, Marks and Spencer plc, the WDA and over 50 SMEs.
Both Ann and Jill are Qualified NVQ Assessors and Verifiers with a wealth of experience (both hold D31, D32, D33, D34, D35 & D36).
